A career in film might one day beckon for Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton.

The six-time drivers’ champion and three-time defending champion has made no secret about his silver screen ambitions, when his racing days are over.

Hamilton could end up featuring in an action movie or western if a video on his Instagram account is anything to go by.

The British driver was seen at a shooting range, hitting targets with ease and reloading faster than he soars around the race track.

Hamilton revealed the range was the one used by actor Keanu Reeves for the John Wick film franchise, where he plays the character of John Wick.

“Excited to show you something I’ve started working on. I’ve always loved action movies and dreamed of one day being in one,” Hamilton wrote on Instagram.

“This is where Keanu Reeves trains for his john wick movies so I came here to start training for my first movie role.

Formula one racing, or target practice, there’s not much British driving star Lewis Hamilton can’t do.

“This is only day 1, was a super fun few hours in a safe professional environment. Keanu, gimme a call, mans ready, big thanks to @tarantactical and your amazing team for the time and patience with me. Had the best day.”

Hamilton will be gunning for a fourth straight drivers’ championship when the 2020 Formula One season begins on March 15 in Melbourne.

The 35-year-old is one title away from equalling Michael Schumacher’s Formula One record of seven drivers’ championships.
